How I See Covid-19 Pandemic?

You already know my story about my parents who were admitted in hospital due to Covid-19. In this pandemic, Many families have lost their loved ones. Covid-19 brought horrific moments in my life too. Moments where we realise that we are about to lose our parents. But on other side , Let me share something with you

Compassion for animals is intimately connected with the goodness of our character.

COVID-19 and How I See it…

In this hard times , people are just trying to survive, doing everything they can for their family’s health. When it comes to family, things like work, dreams, cities, malls, lights, etc do not matter a bit. We never realised that sometimes we don’t even get a chance to tell our loved ones that I love you, Please Stay. We have only now understood the importance of life and the fear of losing our loved ones . Nothing in this whole world can fulfil the loss that many families have suffered. I have also realised that after seeing all the suffering, pain and death, around us, we are becoming emotional. Many of us have discovered our true inner self by exploring the hidden emotions inside us . Lots of people are coming forward to help as much as they can. I have seen number of WhatsApp groups, msgs are circulating, NGO’s are helping needy people.
All this for what?

What are these people gaining by helping?

I think there is a lot of goodness in us which we never explored. Now the pain and suffering from this pandemic has finally awaken the humanity inside us. But all this feeling vanished for a moment when I saw something unbeleivable. Today I saw an incident that took away my beleif from humanity. I was coming from Kailash Hospital where my parents were admitted and I saw something inhumane . I saw a car which had a dog tied at the rear and was dragging him out on the road. I was shocked to see this. I cudn’t beleive my eyes. There were more people around which along with me stopped the car. Two people came out from the car. There eyes were full of fear after realizing the crowds anger. But there was not a single sense of shame in them. I was silent and in anger asking myself if it is really possible.

How can anybody do that?

Where do they get this courage of doing evil act? I called doon animal welfare and soon Vivek from there came for help. Someone called the police and they came in no time. Legal action has been taken against them. Dog was severely traumatised and I immediately took the dog to Raahat Hospital, Dehradun where he was admitted for the treatment. ” you can also read more about this incident. “ On my way to home, thoughts were knocking my head from all side. I was not at all relaxed. On a second thought I felt that there will always be such kind of people . There will always be evil in the world but as they say “Light will always conquer the darkness”. Pandemic has made us realize that humanity is still alive and it resides inside us . We are not that bad! Its just some people who try to infilterate our world with darkness. Its possible that we do not like too many stray animals near our house but only we give them food when they see us with hungriness. Maybe we mostly fight with our neighbours but there is a lot of good in them too.

World is a far better place to live than we think.
Let’s decide. When all this will get over, we will keep this humanity alive.
I promise you I will always be there if you need me.
I might fight with you sometimes, but I will be there for you!❤️

I promise Do you????

As long as people think that animals don't feel, animals will have to feel that people don't think. You can't save all the dogs in the world, but you can save one dog's whole world!

The question is not, 'can they reason?' nor, 'can they talk?' but 'can they suffer?
